CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Please visit our Refunds page for details.

AYSO IS ALL VOLUNTEER - SIGN UP EARLY!
• It takes all of us to make the season safe, fair, and fun for our players. In order to achieve that, every team is required to have a minimum number of volunteers, depending on the division.
• The main team roles required are Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager, Referee.
• These volunteers are required to register, complete a background check, fingerprinting, online trainings, SafeSport, and some role-specific training for coaches and referees.
• If you already know you're ready to step up and support your player's team, you can sign up when you register your player. Please note that although there is an option to "sign up someone else" (like another parent), please DO NOT do that if that person doesn't already have an existing account. It's best if each volunteer logs into his/her own account and volunteers. Visit the Volunteer page for more information and how to sign up.

FALL POST-SEASON PLAY - CORE, UPPERS (16U & 19U), AND EXTRA (9U-14U)
• The AYSO CORE Fall post-season includes the Region and/or Area playoff tournaments
• There are also post-season opportunities in Section for UPPERS and EXTRA teams
• Teams that do not earn enough volunteer/referee points during the regular season will NOT be eligible to participate in post-season play
• Dates will be added to the calendar as they become available

PLAYER EVALUATIONS

Players enrolled in 10U (2014-2015) may be required to attend a player evaluation session in order to receive a rating that can be used to help balance teams. Some 12U players (2012-2013) will also be asked to attend if we do not have a current rating for them. Division coordinators will email players who need to attend.

PLAYER VERIFICATION

PLAYER VERIFICATION
If your player is new to Region 143 or has not been verified, please securely upload a photo or scan of the player’s birth certificate or passport during registration. There are other circumstances when returning players may also need to provide age verification (you will receive an email if you're affected). UNVERIFIED PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ADDED TO TEAMS. All players must be verified by June 30th. If you've already registered, you can go back to upload by clicking the pencil icon next to your player's name in the "my account" page. If you have a question about acceptable documentation, please email [email protected]

PLAYER REQUEST POLICY

PLAYER REQUEST POLICY
6U/7U/8U Divisions

  • Head Coach may make two "requests":
    1) Assistant Coach (and his/her player)
    AND
    2) EITHER a player whose parent is willing to be the Team Manager, OR a player whose parent is willing to be a Referee. The second player parent needs to be a currently registered volunteer and certified for the position.
  • Head Coach CANNOT request any other volunteers/players.
  • Requests from one player to be with another player may be honored so long as they aren’t either of the two players picked by the coach and so long as they players aren’t trying to “daisy chain” together a whole team.

10U & Above Divisions

  • Coach can request Assistant Coach as long as team balance can be maintained by the request.
  • Coach CANNOT request any other players.
  • Requests from one player to be with another player will be ignored.

**DO NOT PLAY WITH REQUESTS:
We will always honor a warranted 'do not play' request, if possible. As teams become larger and fewer teams are available, this may not always be possible. The parent will have to decide if they want to drop, if the request cannot be honored.
