REGION 143 EXTRA TRYOUT INFO

Upcoming tryouts are for teams being formed for 2026 seasons.
All players must attend at least one tryout (regardless if the player has been on an EXTRA team previously); it is always recommended to attend multiple tryouts, when they are offered.
All players must sign up in advance to attend a tryout; you will only be able to sign up under the division based on the player's birthdate.
All R143 EXTRA teams being formed in the spring 2026 season will be based on the new age determination method - please read about the change on the EXTRA Program page.

2026 EXTRA TRYOUTS

The EXTRA Program offers a more advanced level of competition for players who possess the appropriate skills, commitment and abilities. The program offers soccer development opportunities similar to club soccer but maintains the core AYSO philosophies – including a guarantee that they will play at least half of every game. Players are selected through a competitive tryout process.

TRYOUT CHECKLIST

Are you ready for your tryout?
REGISTER IN ADVANCE
Verify the date/time of your division
Understand the Extra program

On the day of your tryout, don't forget:
NO TEAM UNIFORMS of any kind (jersey, shorts, socks)
Arrive 15-20 min early for check-in
Shin guards, water, ball, good attitude
Parents not allowed on field (must wait on blacktop/benches as directed by tryout staff)
