PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Hebrew Academy program plays on Sundays at the Hebrew Academy Community Day School in Huntington Beach. The program is usually offered in both the Fall and Springs seasons. 


WHO CAN PLAY?
Boys & Girls, Ages 4-12
Coed teams are formed based on birth year (not grade level), in order to align with the Region 143 teams they will be playing.
All players who wish to participate MUST BE REGISTERED. We do not offer trial sessions.


PROGRAM FESS
$70 Season registration 

$25 AYSO Player Membership fee - this is only applies once per AYSO membership year (8/1-7/31), so players who participate in fall and spring will not pay this fee twice. The fee is non-refundable and goes directly to the AYSO National Office to cover insurance and other resources provided by the National Office. Sports Connect (the registration platform) also charges a non-refundable transaction fee.

Uniforms - Hebrew Academy players have the option to re-use uniforms from prior seasons.  If you need a uniform, the fee is $20 for the jersey and socks set; you will have the option to purchase during registration. 

You need to supply your own black or dark blue shorts or skirt, shin guards and footwear.  Cleats or turf shoes are recommended.  Sneakers are also acceptable (however, they are prone to slipping on the grass). 


REGISTRATION (scroll to bottom of page to sign up) - Registration for Fall 2025 will open August 10, 2025.
All registration is completed online using a credit or debit card.  If you do not have a credit card, you can utilize a temporary gift style card with a Visa or Mastercard logo that can be purchased at most retailers.

Player Verification - please upload a copy of your player's birth certificate or passport during registration for age verification; your player is not fully registered until this step is completed. You can go back to your application after completion to upload if you don't have it available while registering (click the pencil icon next to your child's name). PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENTS/IMAGES IN PLACE OF BIRTHCERTIFICATES.

Open Balances - players with open balances from previous seasons, will not be eligible to play until the balance is cleared. If you have an open balance, you will need to click on "view/pay" on the "open balance" box of your account. Please email [email protected] if you have an open balance and have questions. 

GAMES & SCHEDULES
The specific season/game dates will be determined jointly by the program coordinator with the Hebrew Academy and Region 143, but will be during the regular Fall and Spring seasons in Region 143.

Fall - games start in September and end before Thanksgiving 
Spring - games start in March and end in May

FALL 2025 games with AYSO 143 teams: Each Sunday, 9/7 - 11/2 (no games 9/14, 10/12)
Schedule is subject to change. We are unable to make up games due to weather.

Game Days - all players should arrive at 9:00 AM for warm ups; games start promptly at 9:30 AM

DID YOU KNOW? AYSO IS 100% VOLUNTEER RUN!
As with our traditional Region 143 programs, volunteer Coaches and Referees are needed from the families participating in the Hebrew Academy program.

To participate as a volunteer, you will complete the following requirements:

• Background check and Live Scan fingerprinting
• Online trainings: AYSO's Safe Haven, CDC Concussion Awareness, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, SafeSport 
• Coach or Referee certification

• Soccer Accident Insurance – secondary coverage in case your player is injured while participating in AYSO events
